From the Dirt is an Americana duo (Dan Kenny & Jeff Karn) from central Maryland. Their harmony-soaked original songs, on guitar and mandolin, reveal Bluegrass, Celtic, Americana and rock 'n roll influences. Bright Against the Blue was produced and recorded by Jerry Brown (Mandolin Orange, Lucinda Williams), featuring members of Mandolin Orange and Mipso, and harmonies by Megan Leigh.
